Esme is already 9 months old! I can't believe it.
It must have been about a year ago when I photographed her mother's maternity
session in San Francisco.
I'm making a baby's 1st year album and have photographed Esme every 3 months since birth.
Just one session to go.
I love this wall in my new studio. The only light I used for most of these shots was from a window which I turned into a giant soft box. Frosted glass vinyl is amazing! I got this idea years ago when I was studying Mathew Brady and civil war daguerreotypes. Of course he used real, colored glass in the skylights of his studio.
I love this shot! Not technically a great shot but I love her expression. I took a similar one of my son 16 years ago. I hoped it would help me remember everything about my baby.
